NEW MarDATA Representatives at GEOMAR and AWI

During the MarDATA Retreat on November 18–19 at AWI in Bremerhaven, the General Assembly of MarDATA doctoral researchers convened. As part of the assembly, the election of new MarDATA representatives took place.

Welcome to the Newly Elected MarDATA Doctoral Representatives!

We are thrilled to welcome the newly elected MarDATA Doctoral Representatives - Rajka and Naveen, chosen during the MarDATA Retreat 2024 at the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI) in Bremerhaven. Your commitment to representing the voices of your fellow doctoral researchers is invaluable, and we are excited about the perspectives and energy you will bring to the MarDATA Steering Board. As full members of the Steering Board, with two votes, you play a vital role in shaping the future of MarDATA.

At the same time, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the outgoing representatives, Patricia and Yvonne. They have dedicated tremendous effort and energy to supporting MarDATA during a pivotal period—the 2023 evaluation process, which successfully led to the extension of funding. Their unwavering commitment and hard work were instrumental in securing the bright future of our program. Thank you, Patricia and Yvonne, for your outstanding contributions!
